With the opening of the first edition of the SalinaDocFest, documentary festival, Giorgio Cosulich shows an exhibition by the title "Other's Places", with a series of picture inspired to the enviromental theme. The photographs show a territory victim of the careness, in Africa, South America, Asia, Europe and Usa. The exhibition is supported by the Italian Ministry for Enviroment and Terrirory.
 

OSTIENSE SITE PROJECT

A journey inside the Ostiense district of Rome, in the middle of a big retraining project of some of the city districts, supported by the Major Walter Veltroni. The retraining project envolves famous architects such as Renzo Piano and Richard Meier.
Twenty photographs, printed on 1x1,5 meters format, talk us about the contrasts inside the changing.

Giorgio Cosulich shows a series of images commissioned by the International Festival of Photography of Rome, on the theme of the new gypsies architectures in Romania. The exhibition has been inaugurated at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Rome La Sapienza and it shows that the traditions of the nomadic gypsies are in radical change. In fact, Eastern Europe is the stage of this change, where are springing up homes and villages built by the gypsies, to bear witness to the need for this nomadic people to have more and more the need to leave a trace of their passage on this earth.

The day after the exhibition, the photographer will hold a two days workshop with students from the Italian school about "On photojournalism path".
